Parks Canada 150th Birthday 2017

In 2017 (next year, as I’m writing this), Canada will be celebrating it’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.  To celebrate, Parks Canada is granting free admission to all visitors to National Parks in 2017.   Guess what?  Fort Langley is a National Historic Park and is under control of Parks Canada.    Basically you get a Fort annual pass 2 years for 1.  That means you, me, everyone can visit the historic site, inside the Fort for free.   All year long in 2017.   As many times as you like.  Most days and weekends the Fort Langley Historic Site is open from 10am until 5pm.   Closed December 25/26 and January 1.

Want to have some fun?  If you go and spend $19.60 on an Annual Pass during 2016, your pass will therefore be good for 2 full years from the date that you purchase your pass.  I bought one in early January and it’s expiry date is January 2018.   To make the deal even sweeter?   Buy an annual pass before March 31st and your annual pass is only $15.70. There are sure to be special events to celebrate the Parks Canada 150th birthday and we will update our site here as we learn what is happening when and where.
